Study published on the Inventory of wells through shallow gas layers in the Dutch North Sea
This study was commissioned by SodM in response to recent publications on methane leakage through gas wells penetrating shallow gas layers in the Dutch North Sea. TNO concludes that the anthropogenic contribution of methane leakage in these publications is overestimated and insufficiently validated.
